Born and raised in West Baltimore, Crystal Jackson Parker is a proud daughter of Charm City and the State of Maryland. A lifelong advocate for all Baltimoreans, Parker has a strong love for Baltimore and is deeply rooted in helping residents gain the resources they need to create healthier and more beautiful neighborhoods.
Parker's leadership is grounded in action. She has dedicated her life to making Baltimore a safer and more vibrant city for all people. She is a trusted, driving force behind positive community change in Baltimore.

Crystal Jackson Parker is a seasoned community activist and Democrat with a long-standing record of service to neighborhoods throughout Baltimore City. A key member of the Coppin Heights Community Development Corporation, Parker played a pivotal role in developing and launching The Mill on North food hall - an innovative project that brings local food, jobs, and vibrancy to the community.
Parker has a heart for young people. Her deep commitment to empowering the next generation is evident in her partnership with Baltimore City, as her nonprofit is a YouthWorks site. She has worked as a volunteer and mentor for over 40+ years, helping young people gain valuable skills and access meaningful life enhancers.
A former member of the Baltimore City Democratic Central Committee, Parker understands the legislative process and the power of advocacy. She is a champion of policies that help to uplift working families and strengthen neighborhoods. Her vision for Baltimore is bold and inclusive. It includes advocating and securing resources to ensure public safety, affordable healthcare, older adult advocacy, clean air and water, and economic opportunities for justice-impacted residents.
With proven leadership and steadfast commitment to Baltimore, Crystal Jackson Parker is poised to serve in Annapolis as the next Delegate of Maryland’s 40th District.
